[font size=1" color="#FF0000]LAST EDITED ON Jul-07-01 AT 10:08 AM (EST)[/font][p]One of Sophie's goals is to get awareness of the website out. BTW she is getting sophiebhawkins.com back, hopefully everything will be complete in the next few weeks. That should help considerably.
From looking at the log-files, it looks like internet traffic comes from different places, from the obvious places like fansites (Ryan's, Wilma's and a few others), but also from other places. This week I noticed people coming to the site from things like being mentioned in a New Age/Spirituality website, from someone's profile, from someone's blog, people's ezines etc.
In order to encourage/reward this, here is one thing we're looking at doing. We want to let interested fans sign up, and they will be given a unique url to post for the site. When someone clicks on the url, it takes them to the website and it credits them with points. The points can later be redeemed for things like signed photos, other merchandise, djembe maybe?? It's a way for Sophie to get things like the djembe out because she's always felt the fans should get those.
It's also something where anyone can participate, you don't necessarily have to have a website, and we'll structure it so that even if you don't have a lot of points, you'll get something.
So that's what we'll be working on the next few weeks.

Do I even have to say it? LOL... In all seriousness, Sodiumfire.com is being redesigned to include banners and such advertising this site. Do we get to be creative and use banners and such when posting URLs? Sometimes pictures say more than text links :-)
